Ich wüsste nicht, warum die Fotografie immer auf die sogenannte Realität Rücksicht nehmen soll. Realität ist für mich Material, das ich nutze und benutze. Wenn der kreative Prozess gelingt, ist sie für das fotografische Ergebnis, also das Bild, nicht mehr wichtig. Das fertige Bild erzählt seine eigene Geschichte.
Ich weiß aber, dass viele Betrachter fragen: Wer ist das? Wo hast du das aufgenommen? Mit welcher Kamera hast du das fotografiert? aber mal ehrlich: Würden sie einen Maler fragen, mit welcher Pinselmarke er sein Bild gemalt hat? Und danach entscheiden, ob das Bild gut oder schlecht ist?
Wenn mein Foto gelungen ist, wird sich die Realität ihm anpassen.

I don't know why photography should always take so-called reality into consideration. For me, reality is material that I use. If the creative process succeeds, it is no longer important for the photographic result, i.e. the image. The finished picture tells its own story.
But I know that many viewers ask: Who is that? Where did you take it? What camera did you use to take that picture with? But let's be honest: would you ask a painter what brand of brush he used to paint his picture with? And then decide whether the picture is good or bad?
